The Seder night is a unique event.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
Many assurances and favorable promises in the Zohar and other writings can be found relating to those who pedantically keep the Seder.<\/span><\/p>\n
The promise is that the prescribed process of the Seder night will give us the power to escape all variations of slavery and to realize a personal exodus from Egypt.<\/span><\/p>\n
How would we define a personal imprisonment in our days?<\/span><\/p>\n
Diseases, problematic relationships, being enslaved by a job or by other people, financial problems, addictions, security problems and bad habits among many others, can be considered as prisons within which we lead our lives. We have been promised that it is within the power of Pesach to free us from them all.<\/span><\/p>\n
This obligation to leave Egypt is mentioned and emphasized 50 times in the Torah. On every Shabbat and on all Festive Days we say \u201cfor the remembrance of the exit from Egypt\u201d. In the Shema Yisrael that we recite every morning and every evening the exit from Egypt is stressed.<\/span><\/p>\n
Since Pesach has to be celebrated during the month of the spring, an extra month is added to the Hebrew calendar every few years and this becomes a leap year\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n
